So we got Chloe home and this will be the setup for the next few weeks/months.... her carrycot in our room by the curtains and importantly, on Cath's side of the bed.

Here she is sucking her thumb... ag nooonoo man.

 

And at bathtime.... remember me saying Emma is really good with her... well here she is pouring warm water over her sister...helping to bath her...

March 3 - Rebecca's Pooh party

So Chloe wasn't even three days old and she was gate-crashing her first party, tagging along with Emma to Rebecca's party - a girl Emma is at school with.

 

It was a Winnie the Pooh party and was great fun - LOTS of food and snacks.

 

Emma was in her element...

March 2

Yay - today's the day we go and visit mommy in the hospital!

 

Chloe had wisely given Emma a cool prezzie... to guarantee that there was love at first sight.

 

Everyone asks - and how is Emma handling the new situation. Answer: She LOVES having a baby sister to hold. Every sneeze is greeted by a "Bless you Chloe!" Every cry a "What's wrong? (very concerned voice)."

  

Mom with that lump that WAS in the belly not so long ago.

Not so long ago we were joking when we took these pics....

  

Cath was saying "I want YOU.... in there!

     

Proud dad, now a bit more relaxed now that baby has enjoyed her first cry,  xrays show no broken bones, etc.

Proud grannies and grandpas. Chloe is my parents' seventh grandchild, Cath's mom and dad's second (Emma being the first).
