Dec '13 - Cath and Fi

Cath cut her hair and sent the family group a piccie on watts app. I think her mom  thought she looked like someone she knew… and sent a pic of herself when SHE was a bit younger. Similarities?

Bits n bobs from December 2013

These photos are just a bunch of snaps from the month of December, starting with Chloe stealing puss-puss' cat perch. Note the cat eyeing her disdainfully.

This was at the shops, note Emma's little hat and below, Emma once again dressing tastefully. Those are Uncle David's shoes, by the way.

Below: At the girls' school, they have a few animals running around; rabbits, chickens and this big guy. The kids love em.

This photo on the right happened one day when I was feeding Chloe lunch. She fights you tooth and nail to avoid taking her nap, but this time, she was so buggered she just fell asleep at the table. I had to take her and put her in her bed.

The moments that I live for, a little cuddle with daddy, taking comfort from the fact I'm nearby and falling asleep easily because of it.

Dec '13 - Christmas @ Venus

Dec '13 - bodyboardin, etc

We headed over to Granny and Grandpa's place for a visit and a few stories...

Then back to our place for some lunch and a chuckle.

But the highlight of the day was definitely the early Christmas prezzies of bodyboards… Emma took to her's like a fish to water...

Such a natural.

While this was going on, Chloe decided to bury daddy.

Cath made up this cool Instagran thingy of Emma's waves...

And then we washed off the sand and salt water…

And Emma dived for rings at the bottom of the pool. Not bad for a 4-year-old!

Dec '13 - Fr Christmas visits Educare

I went along to Educare - the girls' school - to watch them receive their prezzies from Fr Christmas. I didn't work in the mornings so it was too good to miss.

But before the fun started, I saw that they were both in the same play area, which never happens. Normally the big kids are here and the smaller kids are in a different area.

Not only that, but they WERE ACTUALLY PLAYING TOGETHER, not killing/screaming at each other! I snapped some pics, hidden behind a bush (looking like a real peadophile I suppose)...

And I was rewarded with this GEM… Emma giving her little sis a quick "I love you" kiss. These are the moments when you thank God for your children, and realise how truly blessed you are.

But we were all here cos the rumours had it that Santa was making a stop at the school…
Emma was so excited… this above pic is when Santa came through the door.

Then watching his every move...

Chloe wasn't so sure what was going on… a lot of her classmates were crying, but she was just puzzled...

she went and got her prezzie from the odd man in the red suit, opened it and played with it.

Emma was still waiting, though. And a few of her classmates were getting impatient...

But then her turn came and she gave Santa a huuuuuge hug and thank you. She was uber chuffed with her prezzies.
