So it was a mermaid party - which meant lots of long mermaid hair for everyone and a mermaid cake. And I have to say, I think Cath outdid herself this year… what an awesome cake…

Michaela's face said it all when the cake was cut open… wow!
and there were cake pops too.
Then, once the rats had gone to bed, it was present assembly time. Dad worked late into the night putting her new bicycle together. Complete with streamers - who wouldn't want streamers? - it was a work of art.
so much so that I had to photo-bomb the finished article pic.
