Who's a big girl now?
The day began as it usually does, with Emma quietly coming through to our bedroom to read stories and have her milk...
But it wasn't long until it was a mad house....
Cath had a bunch of cool ideas, designed to give the kids maximum fun.
And what do kids love doing? Getting their hands dirty and making a big ol mess....
They loved the flour, looking for little bugs (it was a creepy crawley party) in the flour and making mush with the flour and water...
It's so funny though - you can tell exactly who the parents are who don't like icky things - because their kids stand back. But the kids who dive straight in are the ones who's parents are a bit up for anything, so to speak.
These two in particular LOVED the games - Cailey and Megan. Couldn't get them away from the table!
Daniel and Louis enjoyed playing on the motorbike and with the tiny cars.
Patrick enjoyed the trampoline.
Moms, Dada, grandpas enjoyed the tea and coffee
The motorbike and tricycle squad. Good ol Granny on hand to give Emma a nose wipe.
And Emma got a chance too...
But then it was time for mom's AWESOME cake to come out.... a hungry caterpillar!
and ladybird cookies
Then Happy Birthday and the cutting of the cake...
I'm sure she felt very special.
Mom dished up cake for everyone.
Buzz off Louis, it's MY cake!
Yummy stuff mom, good work.
Then for a trip to the Emma house... everyone wanted to peek inside. Hey, NO PARENTS!
A bit of foam drawing on the Emma house windows... lil Tomas got into Emma's personal space. There there Tom-Tom.
Foam and bubbles. More mess. My favourite!
And then bubbles!
Tomas just loves hoses.
And that was that. Whew. And time to relax!
