Christmas Eve, and getting in the Christmas spirit

Getting ready for Christmas was left a bit late this year, we blame Emms Jnr.

But we got our tree (on the 23rd nogal) and the Christmas box down and started to set up...

We put this bib and hat on Emma and she was SOOO funny. She hated the hat and tried desperately to get it off, but couldn't.

A bit of tinsel on the neck also had her a bit unsure.

We got the tree.... and decorated it.

And this was Christmas Eve at Aunty Pam's:

Mmm - Christmas pud.

Aunty Pam and cousin Mary, Aunty Hilary and Cath

And for those in the N Hemisphere wondering what we eat at Christmas...
Mary and Pam always put on a spread for us. Generally there's coronation chicken, gammon and salads, but Mary always cooks up something unheard of by the uncultured Valkenburgs.
It's always awesome though.

Dad was flirting so I tittle-taled to mom.

Mom was tight-lipped about the incident.

I don't have a clue what I'm doing in this photo - probably holding mistletoe above my head to get some good sweet lovin from de ledies.

The World according to Valkenburg

As if Facebook, gmail and hotseminakedswedishblondes.com weren't taking up enough of my time, now I'm writing a blog!

Oh well - it just goes to show - any idiot can write a blog.
