Okay, I know I put up a lot of photos that might make SOME PEOPLE roll their eyes and say "why did he put up THAT photo. We've seen a hundred like it" but this post will make all your trawling worthwhile, although I'm a smidgen biased.
I mean, how gorgeous is my little girl?! ....
This is her at a dress fitting to be a flower girl at our friends' Stevie and Sarah's wedding.
I could just eat her up... that first photo, where she's playing with her hands behind her back, nervous and shy but aware she looks pretty... oh. my heart melts.

So Cath and I teamed up o do the Impi Challenge this year - an obstacle course run over 12km offroad. I did it with Emma Heany last year and we had a blast, so it was only fitting that Cath did it too - show her sister up and all that ;)
But Emma and I were geared up in running gear, Cath and I took another approach... formal wear.
Cath was actually uber-chuffed - as she fitted into her matric dance dress still.

It was pretty boggy and we knew when we parked that we were in danger of getting stuck - and we did. Thankfully there were lots of impis around to push us out.
This one's a photo of a photo - we got given this as we finished, holding aloft the Impi Shield.
But no time for rest... that afternoon was another kiddie party....
Whose was this one - I can't even remember - but Cath will no-doubt edit this post and she'll know.
My girls with the latest in hatwear.
Ah, Chloe! Not again! If I had a penny for every time Chloe drops her spoon over the side of her chair only to stare at it.... I'd be rich.
Why is this here? I think this is a princess cake that Cath made for Emma's birthday.
Must check up on this. Still - not a bad wife eh? Made it herself.
No rent-a-cake with crappy icing for us.
And Chloe again, fast asleep.
