February - Newlands cric, Taylor to play and flying a kite

So Emma had her first school friend round to play - and they had fun drawing in the lounge, playing in the Emma house, jumping on the "tramingzime" and watching a bit of TV.

Cath and I took off a day of work to go to the cricket and watch SA pummel the Pakistanis. Test cricket, gotta love it - although the day was spoilt when I remembered my temporary 'no beer' rule.

Took the dogs (and the girls) for a walk in Tokai forest (or field as we call it). Little Emma enjoys climbing onto stumps and posing.

And then, we finally christened the kite we got given as a bday prezzie for Emma's first bday. Typically, it didn't work - but the other kite - the one we bought ourselves - did, and Emma managed to get it flying easily, after we had struggled for about 10 minutes, she just held the string calmly and watched non-plussed as it sailed high above.

The World according to Valkenburg

As if Facebook, gmail and hotseminakedswedishblondes.com weren't taking up enough of my time, now I'm writing a blog!

Oh well - it just goes to show - any idiot can write a blog.
