Josh and Brett parties

So Josh is Chloe's buddy and Brett is Emma's.

Chloe tried out the jumping castle - and seemed to like it.

The cake - and the goodies table. Josh looks ready to eat.
Then Anne brought out some jelly for the kiddies to play in/with.
Chloe began by handing off another laaitjie...

Then she got her hands dirty... then she stood up and

... she climbed into it. Don't get me wrong, she ate plenty of it too, the little that she could get in her hands.

I'd say Chloe was a bit tired after all that excitement, wouldn't you...?

--------------------------------------------------------

Then it was Brett's turn to host a party. He is in Emma's class and helives just around the corner from us, and his family is lovely.
His mom had organised a treasure hunt with various prizes at each station... so off we went....

And after some more eating and fun, it was time to sing Happy Bday and cut his "cars" cake.

And then he blew out the candles... Emma watching happily.

Train to Fishhoek and Dominique 4th bday

Morag is always up for some fun, so when we woke up on a saturday and saw that the weather looked good, we gave her and Tim a call and said let's catch a train to the beach. Emma LOVES the train so it's a lot of fun for her and Thomas.

Chloe was fascinated too.

Thomas relaxing while Emma and Megs stare out the window at the sea.

Once there, it was PLAYTIME! Chloe couldn't wait, notice the tippy-toes... she just wanted to get over that wall to the beach

Emma with mermaid tail and Megan, Emma and Chloe all in their Hello Kitty cozzies.

Chloe finding something new to eat while dad takes the girls for a jump over the waves.

Dominique turned four - big girl!

It was a princess party  - and I have never seen so many princesses in one place (except for Sea Point of course) looking fabulous.

Jan made this cake herself.... I think those are seven dwarves.

Emma's love for clips, and Emma, Dominique and Cailey all geared up.

Watching TV later that eve - Emma gives Chloe some loving. Now that's a cute photo.

February bits n bobs

Chloe has learnt to say "Ta" and so she says it all the time. Mostly, she says it when she wants something, like when it's pitch black and we come into her room at 5am because she's been crying. Bottle in hand, Cath or I are still shaking the bottle normally, to mix the formula and all we hear is.... "Taaaaah!"

These pool pix were taken at Julie and Marc's house, Emma was showing off her non aided swimming to Thomas, and was showing her eye for waterpolo, chasing the ball.

Chlow was cheering from the sidelines, waiting to be subbed in...

Ice cream instead of oranges at half time.

Of course Chloe isn't just a great cheerleader, she's a budding musician too, as Uncle Dave would tell you. Her finger range is fantastic and she's already playing Do, Ray, Me. Okay, that was a lie.

Animals - puss-puss makes herself at home on our couch, Shadow and Roxy keep an eye on things outside.

Of course, the dogs have to lie outside because their kennel is being used... again.

Emma on her motorbikes.

Another party, another awesome ladybug cake, more food.

Lastly - is this evidence of Chloe's first kiss? It could be, the little tease. She hasn't quite mastered the whole "close the mouth, use the lips" thing.

The World according to Valkenburg

As if Facebook, gmail and hotseminakedswedishblondes.com weren't taking up enough of my time, now I'm writing a blog!

Oh well - it just goes to show - any idiot can write a blog.
